Long-distance buses from Rita Maria terminal in Florianopolis reach Blumenau (2h), Joinville (2h30), Balneario Camboriu (1h30) and Porto Alegre (7h) reliably. From Hercilio Luz airport (FLN), a taxi to the Centro is about R$70, to Jurere around R$100, and to Canasvieiras 40 minutes on a good day.
